How do you make sure that your business is protected should the worse happen?

The Shareholders of Company X wanted to make sure that if anything happened to one them both their families and the other Shareholder would be protected.  We worked with them to produce a Shareholders Agreement which made provisions to allow their families to the get the benefit of the value of the shares and give the other Shareholder peace of mind as to the future running of the Company.
