Get to know Esther

She specialises in Employment law, acting for both employers and employees in the Employment Tribunal. Esther often advises employers around dealing with disciplinary matters and grievances. She is able to assist with settlement agreements, both drafting them on behalf of employers, and providing independent legal advice to employees.

Esther also has a commercial litigation practice and can advise in relation to breach of contract matters, commercial disputes (including those between shareholders and directors), debt recovery and property disputes.

Esther has a  LLB (Hons) from Queen Mary, University of London and completed the LPC at The College of Law, London. She worked as a legal adviser to two large local authorities, and in private practice, before joining Mullis & Peake in November 2017.

Over her 23 years as a qualified solicitor, Esther has dealt with a huge range of clients and issues, and calls upon that experience to find the most pragmatic and effective way to resolve matters, always putting the client first.

In the Legal 500 2025 a client commented: “Esther Marshall is great. And any questions asked are always explained with patience.”

Outside of work

Esther takes ballet and tap dancing lessons, and is learning to enjoy taking her son to see West Ham play.
